Whether you’re looking for a cosy corner to enjoy a festive roast, a lively night out with friends, or a special family treat, our calendar is packed with events to see you through the season in style. From nostalgic cinema screenings to huge party nights, here is everything happening at The Kings Arms this December.

🥂 FESTIVE DINING & DRINKS

We believe Christmas should taste amazing. Our kitchen has launched a brand-new Festive Menu packed with seasonal treats.

The Main Event: You have to try The Kings Christmas Burger — a panko-crumbed turkey escalope topped with melted camembert, cranberry sauce, and all the trimmings in a pretzel bun. It is Christmas dinner in a burger!
Perfect for Sharing: Gather your friends around our Christmas Camembert Sharer, served with garlic, rosemary, and giant pigs in blankets for dipping.
Festive Lunch: Looking for a midday treat? Our Lunch Menu (Mon-Fri) offers 2 courses for just £19, featuring warming Roasted Pumpkin and Sage Soup and our delicious Prawn Cocktail Baguette.

Wednesday 3rd Dec: We start the month creatively with our Christmas Wreath Workshop hosted by Peachy Blooms.
Wednesday 3rd Dec: Barney’s Pub Quiz returns! Gather your smartest mates and test your knowledge from 7pm.

🤣 COMEDY, BINGO & BRUNCH

Thursday 4th Dec: Comedy @ The Kings is back! Join host Tom Toal and a lineup of fantastic comedians for a night of belly laughs in the Ski Lodge.
Thursday 11th Dec: It’s time for Bubbles & Bingo! Join comedian Lee Peart for a glamorous, high-energy bingo night with fizz and fantastic prizes.
Saturday 13th Dec: The legendary Christmas Bangers Brunch! We’re bringing the day-party vibes with bottomless drinks and non-stop Christmas anthems.

🎬 THE SUNDAY CINEMA CLUB Our heated Ski Lodge Terrace transforms into a cosy cinema every Sunday. Enjoy a roast dinner while watching a family classic on the big screen!

🎶 LIVE MUSIC SPECIALS

Tuesday 16th Dec: A magical evening with the Taylor Made Choir, performing live Christmas carols and songs from 6:30pm.
Sunday 21st Dec: Step back in time with The Two Bows for a "Rat Pack at Christmas" performance from 6pm.

🧠 THE GREAT CHRISTMAS QUIZZES Barney is hosting a two-part Great Christmas Quiz special on Wednesday 10th and Wednesday 17th. And for those who love a bit of "Lovely Jubbly", don't miss our Only Fools & Horses Quiz on Sunday 28th December!

🎉 THE WEEKEND PARTY VIBES

Every single Friday and Saturday night throughout December, we are turning up the volume! Join us for Live Music in the bar from 9pm, featuring brilliant acts like TommySolo, Alex West, Jeremy Allen, and Midnight Storm.

Plus, our Rooftop DJ will be spinning tunes in the heated Ski Lodge terrace every Friday and Saturday night, keeping the party going late!

🍾 THE BIG DAYS

Christmas Eve (24th): The big build-up! Join us for a massive Xmas Eve Party with live music and a DJ to ring in Christmas Day.
Christmas Day (25th): We are open for festive drinks only from 12:00 - 15:00. Come and raise a glass with us!
New Year's Eve (31st): See out 2025 with a bang! We’re throwing a huge NYE Party with live music and a DJ to dance you into the new year.
